TAMKO
Roofing Products, Inc. is one of our favorites
with production facilities in Phillipsburg, Kansas and Joplin,
Missouri. They gained the capacity to manufacture steel
shingles for both residential and commercial applications
in a variety of styles and colors when it acquired a production
line from MetalWorks, LLP, Moon Township, PA. The equipment
has been relocated to Joplin, MO where its operation is
giving TAMKO customers access to a broader line of roofing
products.
CertainTeed
manufacturers the industry's most extensive line
of asphalt shingles. Pioneering the concept of multi-layered
shingles, also known as architectural or designer shingles,
the company has been an industry leader in color innovation
with complex color blending technology and the introduction
of bold designer shingle colors such as variegated reds,
blues and greens. CertainTeed fiber glass
shingles are independently certified by Underwriters Laboratories
to meet the tough ASTM D3462 standard.
Owens
Corning is another favorite. Their
Oakridge Pro Series Shingles are the latest
dimension in roofing and combine durability and weatherability
with uncommon beauty. They feature laminated construction
